“21 Meters” of Pure Confidence
The other day, my son came home from kindergarten all excited.
“They measured us today!” he announced proudly.
“Really?” I said. “That’s great! So how much do you weigh?”
Without skipping a beat, he looked me in the eye and said:
“21 meters.”
Now, I don’t know exactly what kind of superhero training program they’ve got running at his preschool, but apparently, I’m raising a skyscraper.
It’s moments like these that remind me — parenting is equal parts exhaustion, chaos, and comedy gold. Our kids are still figuring out the world, and they often do it with more confidence than logic. But isn’t that what makes it all so beautiful?
We’re here not just for dry nights — we’re here for the full ride. Giggles, mix-ups, progress, setbacks, and the glorious, messy in-between.
